IlluminFx Fiber Optic Lighting
How Fiber Optic Lighting Works The IlluminFx system consists of a specialized light source (250 watt Halogen bulb) located in a box called an illuminator, which is easily hidden outside the pond. Up to sixteen separate fiber optic cables are bundled together at one end into an optic port, which is placed in front of the light source inside the illuminator. The light source shines light into the end of the fiber optic cables at the optic port. Light then travels through the fiber optic cables to wherever each separate cable ends. Fixtures are attached to the ends of the fiber optic cables to aim the light at whatever object or area is desired, either in or out of the water. 4 position color wheel allows you to continually rotate colors or stop the wheel on your favorite color (White, Blue, Magenta & Green). A remote control unit is also available to turn the lighting on & off and control the color wheel.
