Misting Systems

ProEco Misting Systems lower air temperature by using specially designed nozzles that inject atomized water in the air. The atomized water droplets absorb heat as they evaporate and lower the temperature in the misting area. This is called "flash evaporation." Nozzles are generally placed on the perimeter of the area to be cooled.

ProEco Misting Systems are high pressure systems that produce the best cooling results. A pump is used to generate the pressure needed to operate the nozzles. ProEco Misting Systems can lower the temperature by up to 30 degrees F.

  • 24" to 36" is recommended spacing between misting nozzles
  • Locate high pressure pump close to water supply and power
  • Misting systems work best when nozzles are installed under roof eves or overhangs
