To calculate the approximate quantity in tons of rocks for your pond or water garden feature:

• Boulders in a pond = length x width /65
• 1/4" to 3" gravel in a pond = tons of boulders /0.45
• Boulders in a stream = 3/4 ton per 10’ of stream length
• 1/4" to 3" gravel in a stream = 1/2 ton per 10' of stream length
• 3/4 - 1 1/4 tons of boulders to surround face of standard waterfall
