Why use PHOS-OUT?
- Phosphate in pond water causes unclear conditions
- Phosphate enters the pond in fish food, tap water & storm water run-off.
- PHOS-OUT removes phosphate, leaving clear water
The phosphate problem: Phosphorous is an essential nutritional ingredient in fish food, as fish require phosphorous for survival and growth. After eating, the fish release excess phosphorous via waste products into the pond water. As the fish waste and uneaten food decompose, phosphate is released as inorganic or reactive phosphate into the water, resulting in decreased water clarity. Reactive phosphate causes unclear water conditions in your pond. Use of PHOS-OUT will remove the reactive phosphate, resulting in clear pond water.
Directions for use
Using the cap to measure, add 25 ml of Liquid PHOS-OUT for each 100 Gallons (1/3 cup per 300 gallons) of pond water. For best result pour PHOS-OUT into water flow for even distribution in the pond.
