The Sentry 14W replacement sleeve with the double seal has the quartz sleeve already in the replacement fitting. This makes replacing the sleeve as simple as unscrewing the old one out and screwing the new one in.

Installing a Replacement Quartz Sleeve
Step 1
Remove the cracked or broken sleeve. A large pair of channel locks or pipe wrench and a vise may be required because pipe sealant is used and the fitting is screwed on tightly to the housing. Once removed you can discard the old sleeve.

Step 2
Carefully screw the new sleeve into houseing using teflon tape or pipe sealant to create a watertight seal.

Step 3
Slide the UV bulb into the sleeve and attach the ballast to the UV bulb

Step 4
Screw the ballast to the housing using teflon tape or pipe sealant to create a water tight seal.
