Comments:
Good pump for a short time, first one I used for just a little over one year before it died and the second one lasted about five months. With both pumps they were running and when I turned them off to service the waterfall filters, they would not restart.I was using a skimmer box and a pump prefilter and kept that clean, so the pump never had trash in it or was never run dry.It is a very powerful pump when its working, just wish they would last longer.

Comments:
pump works well for a couple years running almost constantly, but then develops an electrical leak that trips gfi outlet. been unable to find anyone who could fix the problem economically so end up replacing the pump. on my 3rd or 4th pump now. any suggestions on preventing this? the pump still works on a standard outlet.

Comments:
I have the same problem the other two reviews are haveing, it works for about two summers and then shuts off the power Gfi. Mine only runs in the summer months, whats going on? It gets to be expensive. On my third pump. Does anyone know of a better pump? Cal Pump was rated so good, but I am not at all happy.
